About the Role:
As Principal Investigator, you'll take full ownership of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, protecting patient welfare, and upholding the integrity of the data. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the ethical and compliant conduct of clinical trials under FDA, GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and local regulations.
- Assess patient eligibility, oversee informed consent, and conduct study-related medical evaluations.
- Monitor safety variables, adverse events, and ensure timely documentation/reporting.
- Collaborate with research teams, sponsors, and regulatory entities to execute study protocols.
- Represent the site in meetings with FDA, IRB, Sponsors, and more.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Strong foundation in general medicine and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication abilities.
- A commitment to upholding Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with an active Florida medical license.
- Board certification in Neurology, Gerontology, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research (as a Principal Investigator is a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates strongly preferred.
